Prince Bush is a poet at Fisk University in Nashville, TN. He is majoring in English with a minor in Women and Gender Studies. His poetry mostly centers on identity, particularly about what it is like to be black, gay, and non-binary in America. Some of his poems are biographical as well, with the purpose fighting and writing for all humanity. His favorite pastime is reading poetry books, and his favorite poets are Jericho Brown, Tiana Clark, Patricia Smith, and Terrance Hayes, among others.
He’s currently reading When I Grow Up I Want to be a List of Further Possibilities, a full-length collection of poems by Chen Chen. He is grateful to be published by Barren Magazine and SOFTBLOW, among several other literary magazines.
