Kaitlyn Andrews-Rice is the editor of Split Lip Magazine, a literary journal publishing online monthly and in print annually. When she’s not editing or chasing around her three-year-old son, she writes short stories about women and technology. Split Lip Magazine recently put out its very first print issue (you can buy it here!), which debuted at AWP in Tampa and has been an absolute joy to put out in the world. She recently finished reading Lauren Groff’s magical Fates and Furies, and wants to marry Alissa Nutting’s Made for Love. But Kaitlyn’s first love is short stories and wants to give a shoutout to Megan Mayhew Bergman’s Birds of a Lesser Paradise. It’s excellent and you should all read it.
Kaitlyn’s short fiction appears or is forthcoming in Indiana Review, Copper Nickel, Paper Darts, and Booth. You can find her most recent story in Copper Nickel 26, which is available here.
