Wanda Deglane is a queer 19-year-old poet from Phoenix, Arizona. She is the author of Rainlily, a poetry collection she self published this past May, and two chapbooks forthcoming in 2019. She is also the editor of a brand new literary & are magazine, Honey & Lime. Her writing often centers on trauma, mental illness, womanhood, and the body. She is currently studying psychology and family/relationship science at Arizona State University, and hopes to one day be a marriage and family therapist. Wanda also enjoys painting, making collages, and all other forms of art, as well as spending her days with her two dogs, Leia and Luke.
She adores many writers, but some of her favorites are Ada Limon, Chen Chen, Kristin Chang, Kanika Lawton, Joanna C. Valente, and Quinn Lui. She is currently reading When My Brother Was an Aztec by Natalie Diaz. Wanda is currently writing a chapbook about girlhood and puberty.
