Do Nguyen Mai is a Vietnamese American poet from Santa Clarita, California. Her work is heavily influenced by her Vietnamese American identity and by her deep spiritual faith, as well as other Vietnamese American writers such as Sophia Terazawa and Duy Doan. Aside from being a poet, Mai is also a community organizer and ardent advocate for a progressive future for Vietnamese America. She is the founding executive editor of Rambutan Literary.
