Another year around the sun1. Wow2. This past year saw a lot of ups and downs3. I learned to accept my flaws4 and love myself in spite of them5. I also learned to be vulnerable and listen6, which opened up the world to me7 and, likewise, me to the world8. I am so blessed with the love and support of all the amazing people in my life9. Blessed for all the incredible experiences I got to have this past year10. I learned that it’s ok for me to be happy, and I shouldn’t feel guilty about that11. I am so grateful12. Thank you13. Truly14. Here’s to another year of personal and spiritual growth15. #sohumble16.
- Happy Birthday to me!
- I’ve had quite a year of rich experiences other people could only dream of having.
- But I’m not so different from all of you, really. I too suffer setbacks and hardships.
- Despite my greatness, I recognized that I have flaws (note, I will not take responsibility for them).
- Although this was a devastating hit, it’s important that I still love myself. I think you would want me to love myself too.
- That being said, I empathize with and care for others. This year, I really listened:
- The world is full of people who wish they could be me.
- So, honestly, it can be difficult not to feel like I am the center of it sometimes.
- I have a wealth of friends and yeasayers. It makes everyone else emerald-hued with envy.
- Not to mention (again) all the cool experiences I had and deep connections I shared with people just like me this past year.
- I understand that deep down you probably hate yourselves. I get it.
- But you don’t hate me. Especially when I’m so reflective and grateful for everything that I have manifested in my life.
- Special thanks to the world for loving me the way it does. I am the GOATi.
- Boo-yah.
- Each one of you who feels depleted by this post adds a unit of cosmic strength back to me.
- Now let the love and adoration pour over me in the form of Likes, filling my soul as with kisses from the sun and winks from the stars.
i. GOAT is an acronym for Greatest Of All Time, for those of you who will read this in 100 years (200 years?) time.
