Monster of Temptation

Only the shy ones
stave off the producing
masses of opportunities
that create such chaos
and blow it out of
mystic proportions.

They will drink to
their worthless forefathers
who knew and meant well
for this once well-lit country.
They will smoke to the
joys of life that is slowly
wasting away.
How their coughing and wheezing amuse me!

So many polluted minds
conjure up new concoctions
to bleed the brain and shove it to the side
like unwanted marriages.

Mountains of Negativity

Peaking universally high,
dawn dragging time.
Snowcapped coats of life,
wind whistling a tune
of great climbs and voyages.

Land…great land.
Triangular jagged death.
Everest is death.
Himalayas are death.

Appalachians…carry on the night.

Bring on this light.
Show us no fear.
There is much pressure ascending up,
But is it truly lonely at the top?
Bombarding. We’re steadily moving.

Avalanche galore.
