An alchemist of semantics, Kat Lewis transmutes graphemes and phonemes into tales that chronicle human frailty. As an author of four novels and three feature length screenplays, she wrestles with the differences between monsters and humans. While studying Monster Literature as a visiting student at the University of Oxford, Lewis investigated the question of whether or not there is good and evil or only circumstance. Lewis released her collection of short stories, IN AND OF BLOOD, with Weasel Press in 2017. When she isn’t writing or rewriting, Lewis directs short films and hosts free creative writing workshops. Lewis graduated from The Johns Hopkins University with a degree in Writing Seminars.
