Jay McKenzie’s debut novel Mim and Wiggy’s Grand Adventure was released in July 2023 with Serenade Publishing. She has won prizes such as the Exeter Story Prize and shortlisted for The Edinburgh Story Award, Exeter Novel Prize, The Alpine Fellowship, Bath Short Story Award, Fish Short Story Prize and the Commonwealth Short Story Prize. She is a semi-nomadic British teacher, mum and qualified clinical hypnotherapist who has lived in Greece, Singapore, Indonesia, South Korea and Australia. She lives with her husband, daughter and too many cardigans.
